On May 6, 2009, the Chase Bank Building at 512 E. Highland Blvd. in San Antonio sold at auction by United Country - Jones Swenson Auction Marketing. The 36,497 square foot office building attracted 5 registered bidders all of which participated in the live auction bidding. The sellers were from out of state and sought a quick and efficient marketing campaign. The lively bidding surpassed the undisclosed reserve after only the second bid was made. Bidding continued until a San Antonio firm was declared the winning bidder. The property closed in less than 30 days.
